Aranybástya occupies the Lónyay-Hatvany Villa on the eastern side of Buda Castle. Its terraces look out over Parliament, the Chain Bridge, the Danube and St Stephen's Basilica. The eight spaces can be hired separately or together, and catering comes from the in-house kitchen.

Catering and technical
The in-house kitchen covers everything from canapés to a five-course gala dinner, with alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks packages. Outside food and drink are not allowed. The Theatre Hall has a stage, projector and sound system.
Good to know
The villa stands on the site of the Ottoman-era Aranybástya bastion. From 1915 to 1923 it belonged to Baron Ferenc Hatvany. It was bombed in 1944 and demolished in 1946. The rebuilt house opened as a restaurant in 2021, and the remains of the bastion can still be seen in the Theatre Hall.
