Getting to Buda Castle

Event guests reach Buda Castle by bus 16 or 216, on foot from Clark Ádám tér, or by car to the Castle Garage, from where a lift goes up to Csikós Court. For larger groups an electric castle bus can be booked.

By bus

Buses 16 and 216 stop at Donáti utca and Dísz tér.

On foot

From Clark Ádám tér, walk up the Royal Steps.

By car and parking

Park in the Castle Garage under the Royal Palace. A lift takes guests up to Csikós Court, next to the Royal Riding Hall and the Royal Guard. Aranybástya is reached via Hunyadi János út, and you can also stop in Csónak utca.

For groups

For larger groups, an electric castle bus can be booked.

Venues at the foot of Castle Hill

Várkert Bazár, IDA Bistro, Hotel Clark, Budai Vigadó and the riverside hotels are on the Danube bank or at the foot of the hill, so guests do not need to go up to the Castle District at all.
