The Royal Riding Hall hosts 300 guests in its 640 m² hall, almost 15 m high. The eight spaces of Aranybástya take 350 at a standing reception and the Royal Guard building above 200. At the foot of the hill, Várkert Bazár and Hilton Budapest host larger galas.
Award ceremonies held in the Castle
The Effie Awards Hungary gala takes place at the Royal Riding Hall (2023 to 2025), as did the BeneFit PRIZE (2025). Várkert Bazár hosted the Randstad Award 10th anniversary gala (2023), GLAMOUR Women of the Year (2024, 2025) and the Office of the Year awards (2025). What to check for a gala
- Ask whether the cloakroom covers the full guest list. The Royal Riding Hall's cloakroom is set up for 300.
- Ask who provides the stage, lighting and projection, and what the base price includes. At the Riding Hall, basic sound and a microphone are included.
